Donations in Memory of Former Virginia DECA State Advisor

Virginia DECA lost a great leader and educator in 2013 with the passing of Isaac W. (Ike) Baughman. The Virginia Association of Retired Marketing Educators has sponsored a scholarship in his name for many years. So many of Ike’s friends and family have contributed donations in his memory and for that the Virginia DECA Foundation is grateful and appreciative.

You can help continue the memory of Ike by contributing to a Virginia DECA Scholarship in his name. Contribute here.

Developing Future Leaders for Marketing and Management

Virginia DECA is more than a high-school marketing student organization; it serves as a springboard for opportunity and growth for its 14,000+ members throughout the state. The largest state association in the country for the last three years, Virginia DECA helps marketing students prepare for careers in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.

The Virginia DECA program is designed to create learning experiences that stretch beyond the traditional classroom experience. We understand what kind of experience is needed to be a successful leader. That’s why we work to help our students develop both personally and professionally by encouraging activities and employment experiences that help develop character, leadership and a sense of obligation to their communities.
